A former musician with a long history of living abroad, Nyamofe began his illustration career in 2020, inspired by his desire to create anime. Nyamofe’s futuristic and cute illustrations, influenced by his diverse background and interests, have captured the hearts of many people, both in Japan and abroad, and he has recently been doing work illustrating artists’ cover art and music videos.

In addition, a reception party will be held on Saturday, August 27th (Sat) from 15:00 to 20:00, with live performances by two artists, Calum X and Mai Melody later in the evening. Food and beverages will be served at the reception party, which we hope you will enjoy as you view the art!

“I want to make an anime that burns with life!” To achieve this goal, one by one I have been incorporating into my works the memories and records of what I have liked at each moment in my life, which have manifested themselves through my inspirations and character designs.

My first solo exhibition “Nyamoso” is the first step in my pursuit of beauty toward that dream.

''I'm tired of trying to be cool lately'' ''I don't care anymore if I'm an otaku'' ''I feel an itch that I can't scratch''. Whenever I feel this way,「Nyamofe」is there . An illustrator born in Kyoto, raised in California, and currently living in Tokyo, offering cute, cool, original, and futuristic illustrations.

Formerly a musician active until 2020, pursuing his dream of making his own anime, he began posting his illustrations actively from 2021, and has done work for the live tweeted comic ''ROFI'', and from 2022 illustrated the album cover and music video for Hoshimachi Suisei (Hololive) x TAKU INOUE's project ''Midnight Grand Orchestra''.

He is also scheduled to work as the exclusive illustrator for the new idol unit「Saishu Mirai Shojo」who have ghost stories read aloud as lullabies, and are afraid of sleeping alone and sleep with christmas lights on in their room.
