MIMAKI, in collaboration with humanoise (Taketo Kobayashi) is pleased to present ‘DIGITAL G-O-D’, a visual art experience with fourteen artists to close the gap between real and imagined worlds using only the medium of print.

DIGITAL G-O-D is an experiment with the boundaries of digital printing. The fourteen artists represent diverse styles and philosophies but are united by their familiarity with digital art-making tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and various 3D computer graphic software. The artists were mentored by curator humanoise to challenge and rethink relationships with a MIMAKI digital printer, and the overall capabilities of digital printing.

The result is an exhibition of 25 unique artworks that address themes of evolution and prove why technology should continue to welcome collaborations with the arts. You can expect to physically interact with prints to hide and reveal layers of elements. You may also find yourself drawn into the three-dimensional effects of two-dimensional artworks.

DIGITAL G-O-D is made possible through the kind support of Mimaki Singapore Pte Ltd, Venus & Mark, UltraSuperNew and Sideways.
